The story repeats

I feel sad when something terrible happens. But I feel sadder if it happens again and again. The same can be said about happiness, curiosity, and some other states of my feelings. These things keep repeating in my life.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said "Hatred is active, and envy passive dislike; there is but one step from envy to hate." I think this one-step rule applies to every existing feeling, and because of each step of them, you can make a path or a scale if you organize them.

I could make a Love-Hate scale, but right now, I am more interested in Happy-Sad one. Here is my idea:

Happy

Problems
Disconcerted or unsure
Experiment or Try (Position Zero)
Curiosity
Loneliness
Sad

No matter in which level you are, you'll tend towards Zero. Happy, Sad and Try are "Jump Zones". You can jump from or to any of them, no matter level. In position Zero, you must do a jump to any Jump Zone, happy or sad in this case. You can stay in each level as much as you want, but is most common to move to Zero than way from it.
