- Even though this figure contains different and opposite colors, both of them are important parts of the whole circle. An analogy: 1) Punishment is painful, but necessary; 2)Excellence is great, but it is bad to monopolize it.
- The circle and sinusoidal dividing line of the two halves represents constant movement, i.e. that nothing is stationary.
- The circle represents those situations that keep reocuring in your live, let them be either thoughts or actions you keep repeating from time to time.
- Yin-Yang is a photograph of an object that is constantly changing its shape, but its essential properties stay intact.
- A Yin-Yang sub-element can change its shape, but it will keep its volume. If one element is going to change its volume, the other sub-elements must change their volumes in a proportionally relative way.
- Peace and War. Happiness and Sadness... We can't ignore the existence of extremes. We need to keep them present and to study them, in order to learn to cope with them and maintain an equilibrium.
- It is recursive. The replacement of dots with smaller yin-yangs means that analysis and studies must be applied to each dot, and normally, these dots have their own extremes. In the end, this prompts that the final decision falls upon you.
- The smaller color inside the bigger color represents those things which may seem tiny or different from the others, but are essential and important for you, and you don't want to lose. In fact, you never lose these, let's say milestones. You only transform them. Common examples are family, crafts and hobbies.
- In my version, the sinusoidal dividing line has an S shape. It reminds me the shape of dollar sign ($) , and that the S is the first letter of the word Sacrifice.

Explanation of my beloved Yin-Yang
This post is dedicated to analyze, challenge and prove all my opinions about this Recursive Yin-Yang shape. This post is going to increase with time, because every time I recall any aspect of this yin-yang, I'm going to add it here.

My praise for Python language
Disclaimer: PHP is my main scripting tool. I still prefer PHP for things related to HTML. Python threads looks like a total copy from Java's, but some concepts of Python have me dreaming too much...
I like when languages focus on both, problems and users. There are still many other common problems that bothers developers everyday, but I like like when solutions go towards freedom, instead of going towards constraints (although the world itself is a constraint).
Don't you find it rude to use Eclipse, NetBeans, VisualStudio or Zend Studio on EVERY computer you will ever use, only to check the a method's syntax? Programming environments should be cheaper and lighter... nevertheless, these comments looks contradictory...
When you unify several complex concepts into simple principles, you feel a surge of freedom in your brain, head, body, self, ... well, whatever you choose. Well, that's what I felt when I discovered that I can slice arrays the same way I slice strings.

- If you have no text editor for coding, it brings Python GUI and a prompt to make tests.
- It forces you to tabulate your code, which makes code looks nicer
- Nested block delimiters reduced: neither {...} nor begin...end
- help() and dir() functions: pass any object as a parameter and look.
- The way you can access your own packages and modules
- Built-in: highest integer number you can express is limited only by your computer
- Built-in: complex number calculations (2+3i)
- Its slicing system for arrays and string, for example: "python"[1:5:2]
- dict.items() and enumerate(array)
- Integer division for floating point numbers, without casting
- You can use named parameters, for example: print my_page(head='Hello', foot='Bye');
- Its flexible object definitions. It looks more flexible than JavaScript definitions.
- Lambda
- Jython and binaries

My Highest Thanks
These are three paragraphs I wrote some days ago. I tried my best to express my feelings with them; although they will never be enough to express what I really mean, I wrote them because I don't want to forget them.
"First, I want to thank THE CREATOR, for letting me be able to live the life I have. I know it could be better, but also it could be worse! Sometimes I make this big mistake of forgetting these thanks, but it's because I'm too busy trying to not repeat many of terrenal mistakes, and trying to take note of them. Someday, I could help someone using these notes, or someone could help me to improve my actual status in life that I have defined within these notes. [20100727T1247]"
"Second, I want to take this opportunity to give thanks to all the people capable to create art. Art that digs out from deep of ourselves those feelings of joy, fun, happiness, shame, sadness,... all what makes us still feel human and not robot. Feelings that keep us pushing our limits: writing, painting, music, movies. All my depressions from my former jobs were aliviated by the Art, and the actual one won't be the exception, nor the future one! Thank you all! Like Love, Art will never die!
[7 ARTS]: architecture, sculpture, painting, dance, music, poetry, cinema,"
"Third, I want to thank all and every one of the people who helped me and made possible the level of understanding that guided me through this life. Each one of them put something in me, but I won't name them all because I'm not still on the podium. ;-D

Common Sense = Prejudices
"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen."
Albert Einstein
There are faults that we allow because they are logical and common sense. This is an example of how a bad action can be seen as good, and that there's no absolute true.

- Mixing milk with water
- Mixing flour and yeast to make bread
- Accepting or giving "payment" to correct a legal "fault"
- Drinking "juice powder" instead of natural fruits
- Forbidding abortion on EVERY possible situation.
- Cutting big trees because they interfere with power lines
- Keeping the extra-change mistake because they won't give it back if the mistake was ours.
- Not asking questions; but instead, either requesting or begging for answers.

Degradation
Main religions and laws promote monogamy (i.e. only one husband and wife). I heard that some institutions and churches impart marital courses, and they have costs; if there are problems between a married couple, there are marital treatments or courses.
But what about living as a single? There are moral compromises that some would like to test or break, even for some small moments, or more. Some restraints include:
What will men do with all that suppressed "power"? Money and Drinks have made "things" easier, but those things are morally incorrect. If your woman wants to wait some time, and you are in a "need", you will need to find solace, and that is morally incorrect. Also, you should never get married only for "that" need, because that will be a Divorce Prelude.
Then you must choose to live either moralist or extrovert. What will happen if you suppress your feelings towards women too much? What will happen if you keep avoiding those immoral actions for too long?

- You should have only one woman
- It's a bad act to look for sexual workers
- Divorce exists and it is more expensive
- VIH and AIDS
- You shall never covert your neighbor's wife (not even in your mind)
- You can't touch any woman you want
- If you look at women too much, you'll accused for sexual harassment
- Some Kama Sutra positions
- Eating plants and animals grown with special hormones

Things all People have in Common
This is a list of things I think are universal for all the people and that they all have inside them, from your beloved and hated ones to those whom you still have not met. I should have written "We" instead of "They", but I think writing this way put my thoughts in the correct perspective: to remember all of these qualities when someone upsets me:
- They like friends
- They want to feel either powerful or beloved, but not questioned
- They love to be flattered
- They like when someone give something valuable to them
- They like to beg for valuable things
- They suffer when beloved ones die
- They are lazy by Nature and love to work only because of benefits
- They ask "how much?", just to use "so ...", "too ...", or "very ..."
- They rarely give evidence. They try to be believed by word of mouth only.
- They easily forget...

Happy = Blind
This was really the first deep thought I have written since I was determined to stamp every conclusion about events of my life in either a paper or a TXT. But today I have discovered that it can be interpreted in many ways, so this entry will be updated with each interpretation I could discover about it.
- If you want to feel happy about something, you should act the blind about its defects. Thinking on defects without a way to correct them generates sadness.
- Do you want to be happy? Then live your life as if there are no faults in it.
- To be happy, learn to ignore suffering. Don't forget suffering. Turn a blink eye to suffering. Believe that Sadness and Suffering are Eternal: they don't die, they only get hidden.
- "Love is blind and Madness is with him." It is the same with Happiness.
- "Happy: If I am, I don't know; if I know, then I'm not."

Advantages of PHP
I hate when people criticize anything PHP has in difference with other languages like C# or Java, first critics being Dynamic Typing and its Procedural part. Each programmer respects Old C and Shell Scripting. What I think is that PHP addresses problems they still have, and those PHP solutions still attracts people.
I will name what I (probably only I) think makes PHP appealing:

I will name what I (probably only I) think makes PHP appealing:
- It's specifically designed for solving web problems.
- It's free and easy to find a hosting with it.
- You don't need to compile code and it runs very fast.
- I don't need to cast a string if I want to use it as bool, int, float, or long.
- String, StringBuffer, StringBuilder, ... , WTF ?!
- PHP itself does not consume a lot of resources from servers.
- PHP.net is the best help I have seen for a language.
- Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, PHPBB, ... , OpenX, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, etc.
- Yahoo! uses it a lot (well, after 2009-11-10, maybe not).
- I admit it: PHP is a grandchild of C/C++ and Perl. He looks like them. You could learn something...
- Its structure and lexic is a mix of C++, Perl and Java (PHP5).
- It THE best template to use with C/C++ on the web.
- PHP is providing OOP for things that are really necessary, Not for everything.
- If you organize your includes, you can take advantage of autocompletion.
- The famous Template Pattern is procedural in essence, and so PHP.
- It can access libraries like COM, .NET and ODBC connections, ...
LAMP it's free and rules! Although I'm worried about the M...

Making more friends of the opposite gender
I feel it is easier to make friends of the same gender, so I want to have more friends the opposite one. I will put here a list of things I think I need to do to have this kind of friends. From time to time, I will elaborate more about them:
Make them feel good
Talk things about the moment
Empathy
Humor, maybe double-meaning
Positive Debate
Their interests and likes
Maybe some writing
Maybe a toast
Money and Time

All pending posts done!!
Cheers!! I have completed all my pending posts!! From now on, posts will be created very near (maybe one or two days of difference) from the date my thought could have occured.
I feel proud of myself of arriving at this point. I have made something similar to this posting before, but it was in TXT files and in Spanish. Maybe I could upload them to somewhere.

Testimonial: Naruto Manga in my Tear-Jerker List
My Tear-Jerker List is growing. I thought I wouldn't cry for any story, but now. I have cried by three stories (Maybe four, but I am not sure)
The strange or interesting thing is that I have seen these stories two or three times before they pull tears from me. Maybe I was not prepared the first time, or something has happened in my life before those stories wet my eyes.
1) Bruce Almighty: after Bruce is fired from his job, seeing him blaming God, made me to empathize so much with the character, that it generated several tears from me.
2) Lord Of Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring: When Frodo tried to leave Sam, Sam tried to swim in order to reach him, but he does not know how to swim!! Then, Frodo helps Sam and then ask him: Why did you do that? after the answer of Sam, I dropped some tears.
3) Naruto Manga: All the events related with the life and death of Jiraiya, plus the messy life of both Naruto and Nagato, then reviewing all the chapters from Kakashi seeking Naruto to make him know about the death of Jiraiya, making emphasis in Tsunade's Tears, Iruka's consolation and Shikamaru's reanimation (while remembering the death of Asuma). With this, I cried a river. (Note: firstly, I wanted to review the conversation between Tobi and Pain, before the attack to Konoha, which I have not done yet). The Starter: What Fukusaku said about the Child Of Prophecy, after naruto leaves. (I thought it was Tsunade who said it)
4) One Piece Anime: (All entries including and after this one are new) In Baratie saga, when I learned why Red Leg Zeff and Cooker Sanji have that kind of attitude towards life... wow! When I think about how One Piece story develops, I always recall "The Wizard of Oz"...
5) Gran Torino: all events (totally all events) that happened in Tao life, from where he was washing dishes, until he got locked in Walt's basement. I think I should mention movies like Million Dollar Baby and Gladiator. Very deep movies that really moved me, but they didn't pull tears from me, although they almost achieved it.
6) Pursuit of Happyness: my first tear rolled when Chris and Christopher were playing basketball... wow, everything was suffering until the very least five minutes. To think that we will live something like Chris Gardner lived... the ending was somewhat happy and common cliché, but "knock knock" jokes cleaned it! This phrase from Monster anime's ending song fits well: "...we could lose it all, but we'll go down fighting..."
7) Never Ending Story: your long-time friend (e.g. Artax), who sunk in the Swamps of Sadness, someone as reliable to you as your own pet, who don't believe in what you believe and focus "blindly" on his sadness to the extreme of letting himself die.
8) Yip Man 2: after you see "Yip Man 1" completely, focus on all difficulties that Yip Man faced, and still, to utter that kind of words after his last battle against "Twister"... I hope for that day too! This movie was difficult for me to see. First, I got a virus in my PC. Second, those subtitles were a mess! :-/
9) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Chapter 11: 'I trust Simon because he gave us Luck that time. When I feel weak or without confidence, I recall that Simon that got us out of there. "I will never make fun of him", I said to myself.' One tear, maybe two, but that was enough 'movement' for me. Also, the saga of Commander Rossiu was great!
10) Huo Yuan Jia / Fearless: this one happened while reading the english subtitles, but I made a big effort of not crying because there were many people near me :'-( I was reading them because I wanted to remember all what he learned when he was with the blind girl.
11) Up: the first 12 minutes of this movie reminded me all those childhood dreams that I have not achieved and all the struggle I have had, before something terrible happens to me. It also touched personal memories that ignited me to start this blog a long time ago.
12) Donkey Kong Returns: 20100718T091746. I was in DR-Metro when I was reminding the new Donkey Kong game trailer. It brought me memories of some favourite songs from old games, like Megaman 2, Final Fantasy VI, Donkey Kong Country 2, and Chrono Trigger.
13) El Reino Del Celo: sorry for this link, in spanish, but it talks by itself.
14) A sequence of songs: (1st) Soda Stereo - Entre Canivales; (2nd) MCD - Nadie; (3rd) La Ley - El Duelo; Date of tear-jerker: 2011-01-21 07:56 AM (GMT -4). The fourth song I was planning was: La Ley - Mentira.

15) One Piece: Death of Going Merry, 'nuff said.
16) Gunsgrave: Chapter 11, Time 7:11, Brandon leaves flowers in the tomb of Ritchie's mother. I felt the urge to cry, but the scene was spoiled by the crazy guy. To feel the presence of the Big Daddy...
17) One Piece - We Fight Together: the opening of post Marine Ford arc, that is a kind of summary of the whole story until that moment and how the crew met.
18) The Richest man in Babylon: the description of the war, and specially, the moment when enemies went away from Babylon, and the war cry after that.
19) Listened to Sensation White 2006 intro, at Dic 6, 2012
20) Coach Carter: reminds me of that trill that you feel when your message is well received. When a seed lands on fertile soil.
21) Ink: we all have a belief about another universe running in parallel with ours. We always want to confirm if it really exists, or not. What if the price of confirming this world's existence is a sad experience?
22) League of Legends: and, like if it was by an act of magic, a chaotic group goes unexpectedly in great sync. (January 4th, 2014)
23) The Boys Are Back: so much love to show, and it's clear he doesn't know how to do it correctly, but the hope is that those recipients of love are willing to accept whatever he can offer, and know how hard he tries.
24) Stromae - Papaoutai: it was the meaning behind the meaning of the meaning of this video…
25) La Sonora Carruseles - Micaela Boogaloo: I don't understand that moment, en-route to my job. The Xylophone Solo started the emotion that day.
26) (This space is reserved for a tear-jerker I'm putting my effort to recall)
27) Eres Mi Religión, Muelle de San Blas, El Duelo: December 25, 2015... a tiny peek into the past...
The one from Naruto (#3) motivated me to make these writings about these Tear-Jerker stories.
Alan Moore, co-creator of "Watchmen", said that Comic Books can do things that cinema and literature could not. A manga entered in my Tear-Jerker list. I wanted an example of what Moore said, and manga is the closest thing to a comic book, so...
The day I started this post was the last day in my country, Dominican Republic, of a book festival called "La Feria Del Libro". Maybe I could find a book about ... :D (I don't know why, but after some tears I feel a little relieved)
Walt Disney, Video-Games and Anime have always been there. Then, the Twister-Ending stories, then Hayao Miyazaki. Now, the Tear-Jerkers. It seems that I won't be so tired when I become an old man! ;-)

My first blog entry.
This is my fist blog entry. I hope I could create a blogging habit.
I chose english because I can both practice my writing, improving my english skills and most important: expressing my thinkings about things that occur me in the course of my life.
Welcome to my blog!! Please leave comments about your thinkings and points of view.
Thanks.
